What it's like to own
The Roomba 105 Vac is the cheapest way to get a current-generation Roomba with LiDAR. It maps quickly, cleans in neat rows, lets you pick rooms and keep-out zones in the app, and recharges and resumes when needed.
Owners upgrading from older Roombas say it's quieter, has a much bigger bin and handles area rugs well. Vacuum Wars measured solid carpet cleaning (82% of embedded sand) but poor pet-hair pickup, with most long strands wrapping the single bristle brush.
At 4.1 in it's one of the tallest robots here, there's no obstacle avoidance, and it has no dock to empty itself. Many of its 31,000+ ratings come from the older Roomba 692 that shares the listing.
