What it's like to own
Tikom's L8000 Plus pairs LiDAR mapping (up to five floors) with a self-emptying dock whose 3 L bag lasts up to 90 days. That combination usually costs more, which is why owners call it the best robot for the price.
Suction is 6,000 Pa with an automatic boost on carpet. It can mop with a basic pad, but the pad doesn't lift, so you need to remove it or set no-mop zones before it reaches rugs. There's no obstacle camera, and it climbs thresholds up to about 0.7 in.
Owners with heavy shedders — including a 100 lb German Shepherd — are happy with how much hair it picks up. It's quiet, works with Alexa and supports 5 GHz Wi-Fi, which many robots don't.
