What it's like to own
The Saros 10R replaces the usual LiDAR bump on top with Roborock's StarSight 2.0 solid-state sensors, bringing the robot down to 3.14 in. That's the difference between cleaning under a low sofa or bed and stopping at its edge.
VertiBeam side sensing and an RGB camera recognize 108 obstacle types and let it clean right along cables instead of avoiding the whole area. 22,000 Pa with zero-tangle brushes handles hair, and the twin mops lift 22 mm or detach for carpet.
The dock empties, washes and dries. Roborock claims 4 cm climbing over stacked thresholds, but TechRadar measured far less on a single step, so don't count on it for tall thresholds. At $1,100 (from $1,600) from a third-party seller, you pay a premium mainly for the slim body.
